A graphic designer by profession, Meredith Kennedy gravitated toward fine art photography while living in Asia. She found that the camera gives you an excuse to dig deeper and look closer at the place and time you live. 

Her most recent show, Exquiste Beauty at Cove Street Arts in Portland, Maine was collaboration with David Cara and curator, Marcia Minter. Kennedy is a regular exhibitor at the Maine Photography Show where she has placed in color and documentary categories and received Best of Show in 2017.

In addition to street photography and portraiture, Kennedy now increasingly works in the 19th century alternative processes of gum dichromate and cyanotype. She enjoys creating photographic images by hand—each image unique.

Kennedy lives in Portland, Maine, and continues to return to Asia whenever possible.
